The embarrassing spectacle of leadership failures over the last few years (Enron, Worldcom, etc.) has left many people wondering what's missing from our leadership schools and skills? Did these leaders intentionally set out to do harm? Or were they just "accidental sorcerers"-black magicians. How do we train our leaders to prevent accidental wounding of the corporate and employee soul that result in lost profit, lost marketshare and ultimately corporate death?
The answer is spiritual leadership: developing the four key aspects of a spiritual leader, a corporate shaman: healer, warrior, teacher, and visionary. This course focuses on the two key mindsets of spiritual leader: the eagle and the condor.
The "eagle" or masculine mindset focuses almost exclusively on the visionary-warrior aspects of leadership. This mindset often ignores the "shadow" side of these leadership archetypes: the tyrant focused on next quarter's results.
The "condor" or feminine mindset focuses on the teacher-healer aspects of leadership. But again we often overlook the shadow side of these archetypes: the elitist who uses information as power and the sorcerer or black magician who uses the energy to wound their rivals.
